Cherraan Colleges was established in the year 1991, by industrialist and philanthropist Mr. K.C. Palanisamy, Managing Trustee, to impart the education of high standard to the students.The Cheran group trust is currently under the stewardship of K.C.P.Surender B.S.B.A, Boston University, USA. At present, Cheran College offers various UG & PG courses in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Arts and Science, Management, through Cherraan's Institute Of Health Science, S.M.S. College of Art and Science, Cheran College for Women, Cheran's Management Studies, and Cheran's Arts and Science College. It is one among the many leading institutes in Tamilnadu offering both UG & PG studies.
